• Phone number (optional, when provided in your profile)

• User role (for example: member, admin, testadmin)

This information is stored in our backend systems (Firebase Authentication and Firestore) and linked to your user account.​

b. Information You Submit in Forms

When you use in‑app forms (such as service requests, profile update form), we collect the information you choose to provide. This may include:

• Contact details (such as name, email, phone)

• Message content (e.g., service or prayer requests)

• Any other information you voluntarily submit in those forms

c. Camera Access

The App may request access to your device’s camera or photo library so that certain users (for example, admins) can:​

• Upload images related to church activities, notifications, or content

Important:

• Camera and photo access are optional

• Images are uploaded only when you choose to do so

• The App does not access the camera or photos in the background

• Uploaded images are stored in Firebase Storage

d. Push Notifications

The app uses push notifications to send:

• Church announcements

• Event reminders

• Important updates

This requires collecting a device notification token, which is:

• Used only to deliver notifications

• Not used to personally identify users

• Not shared with third parties

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above solely to:

• Authenticate and manage user accounts

• Provide and improve App functionality

• Display church-related content, lessons, and events

• Send church announcements, reminders, and important updates via push notifications

• Process and respond to requests or registrations you submit through forms

• Maintain the security and reliability of the App

We do not use your information for third‑party advertising, profiling, or data brokerage.

4. Donations and Payments

The App may provide links to external donation platforms (such as PayPal, Square, or the church website).

• All payment processing occurs outside the App, in your web browser or in third‑party apps.

• The App does not collect or store your payment card, bank account, or other financial information.

• Any financial information you provide is handled directly by the external payment provider according to their own privacy policy.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Data is stored using Google Firebase services (Firestore, Firebase Authentication, and Firebase Storage).

• All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.

• Access to stored data is restricted based on user roles (e.g., admin vs member)

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

Data is shared only with service providers necessary to operate the App, primarily:

• Google Firebase (for authentication, database, file storage, and related infrastructure)

• Expo / Apple / Google (for push notification delivery)

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for church members and families.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

• If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without consent, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Data Retention and Your Choices

We retain information only as long as necessary to:

• Provide the App and church services, and

• Comply with legal or church record‑keeping requirements.

Your choices:

• You may choose not to provide certain optional information (such as phone number or images).

• You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.

• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us (subject to legal and operational requirements).
